The client’s bookshelf is overflowing – time to organize! This is how we proceeded, including a before-and-after photo. <\/p>\n\n

The Challenge<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

Finally organizing his books, that’s what the client wanted. In recent years, so many books and binders have accumulated that they are criss-crossed on the shelves. It’s just crowded. On top of the bookcase and in front of it are piles of things that have nothing to do with the bookcase. <\/p>\n\n

Tidying up the space in front of the bookcase<\/h3>\n\n

First of all, we put away the items in front of the shelf to have free access. The shoes and shoe boxes got moved to a shoe rack in the hallway. A large picture was sorted out immediately. <\/p>\n\n

Decluttering the top of the bookshelf<\/h3>\n\n

We went up high: All the boxes that were stored on top of the bookshelf were taken down and sorted. From now on, the space on top of the bookshelf will remain clutter free. <\/p>\n\n

Decluttering<\/h3>\n\n

The customer parted with numerous old magazines without any problems and the file folders were also diligently cleaned out. Then it was the turn of the books. We have adhered to the following rule: Only books that the customer will really read again are kept. Zack, he was able to sort out about half of his books. The customer decided to give them away on their doorstep<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n

New organization on the bookshelf<\/h3>\n\n

The ring binders were placed in a row at the bottom. The two black boxes that were previously on the cabinet find a place on the shelf. Suddenly, so much space was created that even books from another room found their home on this shelf. So all the books are in one place. They are now sorted thematically, much clearer and easier to grasp. <\/p>\n\n
